Based in Telford, The Oaks is registered as a 12 placement therapeutic community with on-site registered education. The Registered Manager and specialist staff team are supported by our
in-house therapy team, with assessment and evidence based practice informing all of our therapy work. We are externally peer reviewed and audited against Therapeutic Service Standards developed by the Royal College of Psychiatrists Centre for Quality Improvement. In addition we engage in a range of external practice networks. Established and registered in 2012 and set in 2 acres of grounds, The Oaks provides a high quality therapeutic environment that balances a semi rural setting with access to a wide range of community resources and transport links. Its situation in Shropshire provides a specialist resource to placing authorities across the region.
Based in Welshpool, Golfa Hall was established and registered in 2005 and is sited in 8 acres of grounds. Our Therapeutic Community consisting of a 12 bedded care home with an on-site education facility. Therapy is an inherent component of our service and consists of individual, weekly and group sessions. Our service incorporates full care pathways ensuring quality of care for our children. The facility caters for a range of needs from those requiring a high level of care to those moving through the care pathway into our semi-independent living studios, complete with kitchenettes. Our home is externally reviewed and audited against the National Therapeutic Standards through the Royal College of Psychiatrists network 'Community of Communities' utilising a clinically governed outcomes measurement system.
