Why work for Amberleigh Care?

Amberleigh Care operates two residential therapeutic communities (TCs) for young males 11-18, we were established in 2005 and continue to be an independent specialist service focussing on relationship based work.

Each site has its own separately registered school and our service is supported by an over-arching in house, multi-disciplinary clinical team lead by a forensic psychologist. As a specialist service, we work with a deliberately selected group of young people - we are very different to the majority of residential care providers. We deliver a theoretically informed practice model with careful admission and placement planning and we make use of external quality assurance. We have a small and visible senior management team who work across both our sites so we know all the staff and boys personally and we also hold the Investors in People Award.

As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting for a range of roles below to join both our teams. Experience of therapeutic childcare is desirable but we have an extensive in house training programme for both core skills and career development.

Amberleigh Care is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced disclosure from the DBS.
